Fees are payable at the start of each calendar month. Please consult with the manager if there is any difficulty with payment. Please note that we need a half terms notice if a child is leaving our organisation and fees must be paid if a child is absent.
If your child is in receipt of free early education funding, we require a terms notice in writing if a place is no longer required for your child. Free early education funding will be retained if notice is not served, as will other fees due for the same period.
Resource Fee
What is NOT covered by government funding?
As the government funding is there to cover the basic provision of EYFS, there are certain things that are excluded from funding. Examples of these are: Mid-morning and afternoon snacks and weekly cooking activities. Extra activities such as outings, gardening, celebrations, music, or special events and parties or extra-curricular activities Additional high-quality resources such as sensory equipment, woodwork tools, baking supplies, or specialist educational sessions.
You can opt out of the resource fee and we will give you a list of resources needed each week.
We ask for a voluntary contribution of £3 per week to help with these additional expenses.
If you would like a place for your child at our centre, please make an appointment and we'll gladly take the time to explain everything you need to know. You can make an appointment by phone or by using our contact form. We look forward to meeting you!

It's unavoidable that small children catch all kinds of minor infections. For a speedy recovery and to prevent the other children from falling ill, children who are unwell must stay at home. Only when the fever has subsided for a whole day should you return your child to the nursery. If the disease is infectious, we'll need a doctor's note confirming that your child is no longer contagious.
Here at The Villages we ensure that your 15 or 30 hours are accessible and free of charge to all parents, and this free funding is allowing more parents to go back to work. However, the funding is not intended to cover the costs of consumables and so we are asking for a small voluntary contribution to help with the costs of these. We are mindful of the impact of charges on families, particularly the most disadvantaged, so we are asking for a minimal contribution of £3 per week
How are the additional charges broken down
The cost of this £3 per week, however this is a voluntary contribution and it is not a mandatory charge, you are more than welcome to bring in your own resources each week.
Thank you for helping us to remain sustainable.
